When you cannot be at the polls to vote

How to vote if you cannot be at the polls on Election Day

October 31: Last day to apply for an absentee ballot

November 3: Last day for County Board of Election to receive a civilian absentee ballot.

November 14: Last day for County Board of Electicions to receive voted military and overseas absentee ballot (submitted for delievery no later than 11:59 PM on November 6th.

What Pennsylvanians Need to Know About Civilian Absentee Ballots from the PA Department of State.

If you have health issues and can no longer come to the polls, you can apply for a Permanent Absentee Ballot which must be signed by a doctor so that an absentee ballot is sent to you automatically each election.

Application for an Emergency Ballot for those who find after 5 PM on the Friday before the election that they cannot be at the polls on Election Day.
